Kupu-Kupu aka Motylka – a princess with rosettes all the way to her paws

When this beauty was born, it was clear: this kitten is exceptional. She was born to our Pepina along with four siblings – but from the first day something was different. On her back, there was a pattern that resembled… a butterfly. And so it was decided – she would be Motylka. But since we were looking for names starting with the letter “K”, it had to be a little more creative. After a little internet research, we found out that Kupu-Kupu means butterfly in some languages. And so the name was officially sealed.

And the more Kupu-Kupu grew, the more it became clear that we had something really special here. Not only with her gentle gaze and calm, thoughtful nature, but mainly with what a Bengal cat lover will recognize at first sight – that pattern! Her rosettes are not just “some spots”. They are perfectly colored, medium-sized ornaments on a light sandy background, just as it should be. And now comes the highlight: she also has rosettes on her hind legs, tail and even the sides of her thighs. It’s as if nature decided to embellish her completely. And what a success!

Motylka is a cat lady in every way – elegant, balanced, and yet curious enough to participate in everything important (and often unimportant). She is one of those Bengals that can handle a person’s arms without a scene, and even a cat show or a stay in a hotel doesn’t upset her. She looks like: “Okay, then admire me. I’ll wait.”

She is a cat that is not only beautiful to look at, but also a joy to live with. And that’s why we call her simply – our princess with rosettes up to her paws.
