As soon as I sent my husband a photo of little Justo, it was painted. “Oh yeah, we have another cat,” he said with a sigh and a smile in one. And he was right. From the very beginning, we called him Bobeši at home – and then all that was left was to come up with a more dignified name for the pedigree. Something that would sound like a nobleman, but at home he would still be our Bobeš.

With his mother Siri, who is a real piece of cat, it was more or less clear that Bobeš would walk with big paws. And so it was – he grew up to be a stout, powerful cat that takes up half a bed and all of our heart.

At first, we debated for a while at the shows whether he was really silver – because recognizing silver in the snow variety is a bit like looking for treasure without a map. But I was almost sure, so I proudly had his silver status recorded. And lo and behold! The first litter confirmed it – a silver kitten was born. So yes, Bobeš is rightly proud!

He has managed four cat shows so far, but honestly – it is not his favorite sport. We are socializing and training a little more, because let’s face it – cat modeling is not for everyone. But Bobeš can do it. He just has to give himself time. And we will give him some.

Like his father Piškot, he is a carrier of PKDef, but don’t worry – all our girls are healthy and do not carry this gene. So no kittens can be affected by this disease. (For those interested – you can find more info [here].)
