Jazz Whinecat – First breeding of the Whinecat Bengal cattery

We are happy to introduce you to the first kitten ever bred in our Bengal cattery Whinecat – the beautiful cat Jazz Whinecat.

Jazz’s story – from surprise to joy

Jazz was a surprise from the very beginning. The mating of our Bengal Oggi, who is not snow-colored but carries the talent for snow-colored (lynx), with the male Argem, who is also a carrier of this talent, took place quite quickly. However, the first sonographic examination approximately four weeks after the mating showed a negative result.

But something told us that it was not yet definitive. During the next examination, a surprise awaited us on the monitor – a strong beating heart and a tiny skeleton. Oggi was expecting a single kitten.

The birth of the snow princess

On the night of November 16-17, labor contractions began. Shortly after midnight, a tail appeared – it seemed to be light. A breech birth followed, which was nothing new for us. But when we saw a large foot, larger than any other in newly born kittens, we alerted our friends and the vet for advice.

During another contraction, with my help, a snow Bengal kitten was born.

In snow Bengal kittens, it is often difficult to recognize both the pattern and the gender after birth. But it was clear that if a snow rosette girl is born, she will stay with us at home.

And indeed - within a few days it turned out that we had a snow Bengal kitten with a rosette pattern.

Jazz Whinecat stays at home

We call the little one Princezna Jasněnka, but she was registered in the PP as Jazz Whinecat - our first own breeding at the Whinecat kennel.

Jazz is not intended for sale. If she is healthy and has no breeding restrictions, she will remain with us as a future breeding cat.

Jazz Whinecat – A dignified lady at the end of her breeding career

Our Jazz Whinecat, the first offspring of the Whinecat cattery, will celebrate her 9th birthday this year. Over the years, she has become not only a beautiful snow Bengal with rosette markings, but above all an exceptional personality.

This year we say goodbye to Jazz in her role as an active breeding cat – she is ending her breeding career. However, she remains the rightful queen in our pack, who still has everything under control.
A fair and consistent boss

Even at her age, Jazz maintains her natural authority. She is a balanced, fair and assertive cat who knows how to command respect – whether it is younger kittens, adult cats or newly arrived members.

Her approach is fair but uncompromising. It is thanks to her that there is peace, order and natural harmony among our Bengals.
